Wooden Duck Decoy

Vintage working wooden duck decoy in a traditional canvasback / scaup-style profile. Hand-carved from solid wood with an applied head and paddle tail, the bird shows an appealing weathered surface from decades of use. It retains its original painted finish — a muted black head, slate-gray bill, and soft gray body with traces of white — now worn to a soft, aged patina. The bottom features the original keel weight and line tie hardware. A crack at the neck and scattered paint loss add to its authentic working character.
